The Weekend Warrior Harness has been a staple amongst our adventure gear, since that first harness that we got for Vos. It’s without doubt the piece of gear we use the most, and if you ask me an absolute must-have for anyone looking for durable hiking gear for their dog. I love how easy it is to adjust, so it can be worn over a midlayer, and how any force on the harness is distributed evenly over the large surface across the dog’s chest and back. My favourite feature might be the handle, which makes it easy to assist my dog on the technical, steep parts of a hike.

The very first thing I noticed about the update it got, was its colour. Hurtta has really outdone themselves again. It reminds of a blueberry cream or compote, and the shine and contrasts of the different textures are even more beautiful when taken out in the sunlight. The minimal design of this update brings it out even more.

With the reflectors located on the straps in this new update, they are much saver from dirt than the reflective piping in the older design. I was a bit skeptical at first about the new additional reflector on the handle, afraid it might come off with a dog who loves to roll in the grass and dirt, but it didn’t move an inch. It also didn’t change the comfort of using the handle and is much more visible than the reflective prints and piping of the previous weekend warrior harness.

A new favourite, that I can highly recommend anyone!
