These General Terms and Conditions ("General Terms and Conditions") apply to you when you order from us (“we”, “Hurtta.com”) as a consumer customer ("you", "customer") at our website www.hurtta.com (“online store”). We urge you to read these General Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order in our online store.
To place an order in the online store, the customer must be at least 18 years old and have a permanent delivery address in the delivery area of the online store. PO Box addresses, hotels or other similar temporary addresses are not considered as permanent addresses.
Ordering does not require customer registration.
We deliver products currently to Finland (excluding Åland) and Sweden.
2. THE BINDING NATURE OF THE ORDER
Products are ordered from the online store by adding the products to the shopping cart and making a payment on the "Checkout" page of the online store. Our ordering policy allows you to check your order for errors before sending it to us. We encourage you to carefully review your order (quantity, size, colour, buyer’s contact information, etc.) on each page separately presented during the ordering process. You must provide a valid email address and telephone number to place an order in the online store.
An agreement is concluded when the customer completes the order and receives an order confirmation by email. The confirmation email contains information regarding price, possible delivery costs and ordered products, as well as other information required by applicable law.
3. PRICES AND PRODUCT INFORMATION
The valid price is the price found on Hurtta.com website when ordering. All prices include VAT according to the tax rate of the product. The tax breakdown is shown at the Checkout and on the order confirmation. All prices are without prejudice and Hurtta.com reserves the right to change prices and to annul / cancel the transaction due to pricing errors.
The product price does not include any payment or delivery costs since the price is determined by the chosen payment and delivery method. Delivery and payment costs are shown in the online store at the Checkout immediately before sending the order and are charged in connection with the payment of the order.
Hurtta.com strives to keep the information on the price and product availability up-to-date and correct in the online store but does not guarantee nor is responsible for the accuracy of the information or the availability of the products. If the price in the online store is clearly incorrect, Hurtta.com reserves the right to terminate the contract. The price is clearly incorrect, at least when it differs significantly from the normal price level of a similar product or when the customer should have understood that there is a pricing error (e.g. if the price is EUR 0.00).
If it turns out that the product ordered by the customer has run out despite contrary information on the product availability, Hurtta.com will immediately notify the customer by using the contact information provided by the customer. If the ordered product is temporarily out of stock, Hurtta.com undertakes to reimburse the product price in full to the customer, and the transaction is considered cancelled for that specific product.
4. DELIVERIES AND DELIVERY PRICING
For deliveries in Europe we use delivery partners GLS and DHL Express. With GLS standard delivery method the estimated delivery time is 3 – 7 working days and with DHL Express the estimated delivery time is 2 – 4 working days depending on the destination country. Your order will be shipped approximately within two business days from the order date. Delivery times are based on the date of dispatch - not the time of ordering.
You will receive the order confirmation to your email after the order is completed. In case you do not receive the order confirmation to your given email, contact our customer service team using the contact form. We also recommend to check your Spam mail, Junk mail or Promotion folder; you might find your confirmation email in one of these folders.
Hurtta.com reserves all the rights to change the chosen delivery method (e.g. choose more affordable method of shipment if the selected delivery method is not suitable) or the mode of transport if we see that it improves the service or the chosen delivery method cannot be used for delivery, e.g. due to shipment size, weight or content.
We are not responsible for delays caused by our logistic partners’ delivery disruptions or for changes in delivery or storage times.
5. PAYMENT METHODS
The accepted payment methods in Hurtta.com web shop are Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal and Apple Pay. All our payment methods are fully secure. All personal information (such as payment information, email and address) and payment details are protected by encryption and by an additional authorization process.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, REFUND AND EXCHANGE
Hurtta.com complies with the Consumer Protection Act and the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority's e-commerce guidelines. E-commerce sales are distance sales within the meaning of the Consumer Protection Act. The customer has the right to cancel any distance sales agreement by a cancellation notice given no later than fourteen (14) days after the receipt of the product. This means that you can familiarize yourself with the product at home / try the product, if necessary, as you would normally do in a shop. If the product does not fit or meet your expectations, you are entitled to return the product within 14 days of receiving your order.

If the order is cancelled by using the customer’s right of withdrawal, the customer must return the products within fourteen (14) days of sending the cancellation notice in accordance with the company's return instructions.
The returned product must be unused, in unaltered condition and in condition for resale. The product must be shipped well-packaged, in good condition and preferably in its original box and / or packaging. The customer is responsible for any decrease of value, and Hurtta.com has the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation of the product in comparison with the original product from the refundable amount. We always inform the customer about this separately.

After filling and sending the electronic return form, you will receive further instructions and a return label by email for dispatching the product back to Hurtta.com. We charge 14€ return fee which will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.
Attach the original Order Confirmation to the returned product. The logistics company will contact you to arrange a pick-up
If you choose another return method, we will not be responsible for any cost related to the return.
When a customer cancels an order made in the online store, Hurtta.com will refund the payment and attempts to use the same payment method used by the customer in the original purchase transaction, unless otherwise agreed. We will deduct 14€ return fee from the refundable amount. The refund does not cover any additional costs caused by other than the standard delivery method offered to the customer. If only part of the order is returned, delivery costs will not be refunded and we will charge the 14€ return fee also from partial return.
Hurtta.com will in cooperation with the payment service provider refund the paid amount to the customer without undue delay, but no later than fourteen (14) days after receiving the customer’s cancellation notice, If the purchased product is returned to Hurtta.com as described above. However, Hurtta.com may postpone the refund until Hurtta.com has received the product or the customer has provided proof of the return (e.g. delivery certificate).
For non-collected packages, we charge an extra 14 € return fee, which will be deducted from the amount returned to you.
Products purchased from the online store will not be exchanged for another product in the online store. If you want to change the product, you will have to place a new order, and return the product you have already received from us.
7. PRODUCTS DAMAGED DURING TRANSPORT
If the package has been damaged during transport and if the ordered product(s) have been damaged, please make a damage report immediately at the collection point. Contact our customer service and we will provide you with a replacement product.
If the customer has been delivered the wrong product, the wrong number of products or the product is damaged, the customer must notify Hurtta.com immediately through to the return form.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
Hurtta.com is not responsible for any obstruction, impediment or delay in the delivery of the order due to a circumstance beyond Hurtta.com’s control, such as war, natural disaster, export or import ban, government decision, disturbances of public transport or other similar circumstances that hinder or prevent the Company.

For example, cookies allow processing the number of users of the website and other information related to the use of the website. With the help of the obtained information, the use of the website can be analysed and developed to be better and more individual for the customer.
13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Disputes and disagreements arising from these general terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law.
The parties shall strive to resolve their differences primarily through negotiations. If no amicable settlement is reached, the disputes will be settled in the Helsinki District Court in Finland. The customer may also take the dispute to the competent district court determined by the customer’s domicile or the Consumer Disputes Board.
