Adventure Ready

We’ve always been a family that loves the outdoors, and road trips with our dogs are a big part of our life. The freedom of packing up the rooftop tent and heading out to the mountains, rain or shine, has always been our style. But, of course, keeping our dogs comfortable and dry during these adventures is a top priority. So, when we got our hands on the new Monsoon coat II ECO dog raincoat from the Hurtta last month, I knew we had to put them to the test right away.

We packed the dog raincoats for our road trip to the Dolomites, and they really proved their worth during those chilly mornings and late evenings when we returned from hikes. Most of the time, we used them around our camping spots. It was essential to keep the dogs dry since they sleep with us in the rooftop tent, and the last thing we wanted was a wet, muddy tent!

Mud Madness

The real test of these Monsoon Coat II ECO dog rainjackets came when the dogs did what they love most. Running around like crazy, playing together, and, of course, rolling in every muddy patch they could find. They’ve always had a thing for mud, and no amount of gear can change that! But to my surprise, the dog coats stayed perfectly in place the whole time, even during their most energetic moments. The adjustable straps made sure of that.

There is no such thing as bad weather!

New Hurtta Monsoon Coat II ECO dog raincoat is made from 100% recycled materials and featuring an updated design and fit. There's no better way to stay dry and comfy in cold, wet winter weather.

Delicacies and comfort

Now, as the weather has turned for the worse here in Central Europe - constant rain, strong winds, and even flooding in some areas… we’re using these dog raincoats every day. Whether it’s a short walk for the dogs to go potty or a longer adventure to explore new areas, these coats have been lifesavers.

If you live somewhere with frequent rain and temperatures around 10°C, Chilli and Zazu can’t recommend these coats enough. They’re waterproof, have a cozy lining that’s perfect for chilly weather, and they look so stylish with their reflective features. Plus, the fact that they’re 100% eco-friendly just seals the deal. These coats really have something for every need!

Pick up the style

Chilli and Zazu both weigh about 17kg, have a back length of 52cm, and are wearing the Hurtta Monsoon coats ECO II in size 55.
