Mountain memories
There was only one thing I wanted for my birthday this year: mountains! Nala and Domi were in, of course, so we packed the car and headed off to Zell am See in Austria. I often went skiing there as a child and now, for the first time, I came with my dog Nala. The place feels a bit like coming home to me.
An meinem Geburtstag hab ich mir dieses Jahr nur eins gwünscht: Berge! Nala und Domi waren natürlich dabei und so packten wir das Auto und machten uns auf den Weg nach Zell am See in Österreich. Als Kind war ich oft zum Skifahren hier und nun, zum ersten Mal mit Nala. Der Ort fühlt sich für mich ein bisschen an wie nach Hause kommen an.
Sunset Strolls
On the evening we arrived, we went for a walk along Lake Zell and enjoyed the sunset. Then we went early to bed, because the next day we had an extended hike to the Plettsauknopf reservoir with a breathtaking view of Lake Zell on the agenda.
Am Abend unserer Ankunft spazierten wir entlang des Zeller Sees und genossen den Sonnenuntergang. Danach hieß es früh ins Bett, denn am nächsten Tag stand eine ausgedehnte Wanderung zum Speicherbecken Plettsauknopf mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf den Zeller See auf dem Programm.

Among Nature's Silence
The alarm clock rang early, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast and then set off! Nala was delighted with the snow that was still there and romped around happily. Once we reached the top, we took a break, enjoyed the peace and quiet and nature, had a few snacks and then headed back.
Der Wecker klingelte früh, wir genossen ein ausgiebiges Frühstück und machten uns dann auf den Weg! Nala freute sich über den noch vorhandenen Schnee und tobte ausgelassen herum. Oben angekommen, machten wir eine Pause, genossen die Ruhe und die Natur, naschten einige Snacks und machten uns dann auf den Rückweg.
While we spent the evening in the sauna, Nala made herself comfortable on the cool balcony.
We're already looking forward to the next time!
Während wir den Abend in der Sauna verbrachten, machte es sich Nala auf dem kühlen Balkon gemütlich.
