All our payment methods are fully secure. All personal information (such as payment information, email and address) and payment details are protected by encryption and by an additional authorization process.

 

In our Hurtta web shop you can pay with the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Hurtta Gift Card

 

Credit cards:

Credit card (Visa, MasterCard) can be safely & securely used to pay for your transaction. After your card has been charged, items will be shipped from our warehouse. The charge to your credit card company is typically made after 2-3 days. Please note that there might be a payment reservation for the amount showing up immediately on your bank account.

 

PayPal:

PayPal is an online account-based system that lets anyone with an email address send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account. You can use it at Hurtta.com to pay safely, easily and quickly. During the ordering process, you can also open up a PayPal account if you already don't have one. The advantage of PayPal is that our system recognizes the payment immediately and your items are shipped after 24-48 hours! Please note that we cannot accept PayPal accounts from the USA. Apple Pay:

Apple Pay allows you to make easy, secure, and private transactions. Apple Pay is designed with your security and privacy in mind, making it a simpler and more secure way to pay than using your physical credit, debit, and prepaid cards. Apple Pay uses security features built-in to the hardware and software of your device to help protect your transactions. In addition, to use Apple Pay, you must have a passcode set on your device and, optionally, Face ID or Touch ID. Apple doesn’t store or have access to the original credit, debit, or prepaid card numbers that you use with Apple Pay. When you use Apple Pay with credit, debit, or prepaid cards, Apple doesn't retain any transaction information that can be tied back to you—your transactions stay between you, the merchant, and your bank or card issuer.

Hurtta Gift Card:

Gift cards purchased from the online store can be used as a means of payment in the Hurtta.com online store. The gift card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Under distance selling regulations, you can cancel an order for gift cards purchased from the Hurtta.com online store within 14 days in accordance with our cancellation instructions. An electronic gift card purchased from the online store will arrive in your email as a separate message after payment when the order has been handled and confirmed by us. You can also print the gift card.


If the value of your gift card is greater than the value of your order, the remaining balance will be available for future purchases. The Hurtta gift card may not be exchanged for cash and lost or stolen gift cards won't be replaced or refunded. Only one gift card can be used to pay for an order and you cannot use a gift card to pay for another gift card. If you pay for your entire order with a gift card, the amount will be returned to the original gift card. If you use both a gift card and another payment method to pay for your order, the refund will always go to the original gift card first and then to the other payment methods that were used for your order. Please keep the code of the gift voucher purchased online for possible returns.

 

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my payment went through?

After a successful payment you will be redirected back to the Hurtta.com Thank you -page. Shortly after you will also receive an email confirming your order. If you don’t receive an email within a reasonable time, please contact our customer care using the contact form.

 

I paid by credit card. When will it be charged?

Your card will be charged directly at the checkout. Please note that there might be a payment reservation for the amount showing up immediately on your bank account.

 

I have received a payment reminder, but I have already paid for the goods. What can I do?

We would be pleased to check your data. Please inform us about the precise date that your credit card was charged by contacting our customer service team using the contact form.

 

I have received a payment reminder, but the goods in question have been totally or partially returned. What can I do?

Your account cannot be credited until we receive the items you returned, so this may take several days. If you are unsure about the status of the returned goods or your account, please contact our customer service team using the contact form. If you have a postal return receipt for the goods you returned, then please send a copy of it.
