It's that magical time of year
Snow days always have something magic in them. Snowflakes are dancing in the sky and happy dogs running around. Can it get any better? I always look forward to days like this.
Splinter and I always try to take full advantage of snow days. We are spending as much time outside as possible.

A snowy forest trip in Norway
This day we went for a hike close to our house. It’s a old race track for horses that isn’t used anymore so we can use it for hikes. The winter can be a bit challenging for Splinter because of the high snow but they clean the old race track from the high snow so he can run around.

We also often do a snow “fight”, Splinter loves catching the snow balls and he has become pretty good at it!

This dog winter coat has been our go to coat in the winter the past few years. It’s flexible and light weight so it’s easy to move in. Which is needed with all the running and rolling.
