Wow, it's been so difficult to find a non-bulky, yet very warm coat for my Chihuahua mix. It's easy to put on and I love the adjusters, you just pull out and down to change the neck girth or length. And she looks like a cute little adventurer in it.

We had to get something warm for the winter because his fur was very thin due to a side effect of medication.
It fit perfectly and he seem very comfortable wearing it. He doesn’t like to have things over his head but it’s so easy to put on and adjust it was not a big deal. He his able to pee freely without making a mess. We used a rain jacket from another brand before and we had to keep washing it because it was keeping getting wet and stinky from the pee.
The orange bright color also looks great and we have received compliments from our vet and from other dog owners.
The only criticism I can have is the fabric could be slightly more water/dirty repellent without jeopardizing the comfort.
It gets dirty quite quickly but we don’t really care to wash it until it’s warmer as we have been using it every day.

Hi I notice that the size chart according to dog breeds does not have size for Anatolian Shepherd (aka Kangal), I want to inform that Anatolian Shepherds need the biggest size. We adopted an Anatolian Shepherd (5 years old) and he is under size for his breed because he was a stray in Iran and he has been living in a poor shelter in Iran until last year so he did not have proper nutrition. I ordered a Hurtta Expedition Parka for him online at Home Alive Pets in Canada and I thought size 28 would fit him but I was so wrong, on your size chart according to back length, neck size and chest size, size 28 looks like a good fit but I was so wrong, after the parka shipment arrived, I put it on him and the neck area was so tight and the shoulder area was too tight. He is 93 pounds and he is considered underweight because a regular size make Anatolian Shepherd is between 100 to 150 pounds. The issue is that Anatolian Shepherds have very thick fur in their neck area and therefore the size 28 is too tight for him that he could not move his head, neck and shoulder comfortably. I did not tighten any adjustment points of this jacket, I used default setting which allows most rooms but it’s still too tight. Anatolian Shepherds have big heads and thick, muscular necks, and the tightness in the neck area and shoulder area is not subtle, it’s actually very noticeable and obvious. I already knew I have to exchange to a bigger size the first time I put size 28 on him. Hurtta does not have size 30 for Expedition Parka so I returned size 28 in exchange of size 32 and size 32 is perfect fit! I was very disappointed that your size chart does not offer size suggestion for Anatolian Shepherd, I hope u can consider putting the ideal size (Size 32) for Anatolian Shepherd on your size chart so that in the future, your customers can get the right size instead of having to return for exchange. I love your dog jackets and I am very happy with the quality of this Expedition Parka which is the best in the market! We are in Vancouver, Canada and this parka keeps him warm in snowy days and I love the body coverage of this parka especially the belly area so that he can play in the snow and make snow angels! I put this parka on him when it’s below 5 degree Celsius here, he is a tripaw, not very active and his ears’re cold when it’s too cold outside. Even though he is double coat, but because he does not run often and he likes just lay down to chill after a short walk, I think he needs to wear a jacket more often than other active dogs that run a lot. I highly recommend Hurtta Expedition Parka!

Pieni miinus siitä, ettei integroituja valjaita ole kuin 25-kokoon saakka. Näkisin, että vielä koossa 30 ne menisivät aivan hyvin ja helpottaisi käyttöä.

Overall good quality and fit. The dog is enjoying the warm insulation ( suitable for Canadian winter), also the neck extension seems to be a great feature for this design. One observation ( noted also on other reviews) the back elastics needs an improved design : straight down on the leg is too loose ; crossed L/R, are better however the dog is not comfortable specially during "poop" time
