When the weather is too windy for the Peaks, we love nothing more than a cold, crisp day of exploring the disused slate quarries of North Wales. Cleo and Ogwen love to run around and explore new places with me. The Welsh quarries have very interesting features, like the old mining tracks they love to run up, tunnels to hike through, and remains of the old slate houses to go inside and explore. It truly is an adventure playground, and we could spend ages exploring all of the different areas. I'm so lucky to have dogs that love exploring as much as I do!
