Where to even begin?! These overalls have answered every wish a spaniel owner could ever have for a jacket to keep their dogs clean & dry… factor in the most beautiful colours, that stand out perfectly against any landscape, and make it easy to keep track of your four legged adventurers’ and you’re onto a winner!
The jackets are super well made, as we would all expect from Hurtta! But the extra adjusters in these overalls really do make all the difference. Being able to tailor fit the overall to each individual dog is so handy, I would say the leg adjusters in particular have been a great addition! The other thing I love is the material around the bottom of the leg, and the poppers are super secure too. The new zip design is great, the fact that it doesn’t totally open the jacket makes it easier to get fastened, but it still gives plenty of space for you to slip it over the dogs’ head with no issues. The reflector patterns look so good, and will be super useful on walks heading into autumn/winter as the nights draw in and it gets dark earlier the dogs will be easy to spot!
Another thing I think has been really well thought through is the adjuster inside the neck, occasionally on some of the older coats the dogs longer fur/ears got caught on the little strap, but the new design is neatly tucked away so there’s no chance of that happening. The dogs weren’t phased at all wearing the overalls, and they quite happily ran around like typical spaniels, jumping, rolling, and sniffing wherever possible.
