There’s something so magical about the first snow of the season. Looking out the window and seeing the soft snowflakes falling and a little snow on the ground, I was immediately excited - and knew I’d be in for a day with lots of fun for Keela and I! So of course we made sure to spend as much time as possible outside and went to one of Keela’s favorite spots, where she took off running, jumping, and rolling around in the snow - she was like a kid on Christmas morning. It was impossible not to smile watching her, so full of joy.

She rolled at any chance, dove her face into the snow and just frolicked to her heart’s content. That’s the best feeling - seeing her so happy, and I swear, she could play out there all day if I let her. I love the peacefulness of a snowy day: the crisp air, the brightness and just being out in nature with Keela by my side. It feels like a perfect Christmas adventure.

For me, this time of year is all about the hygge and lots of traditions - whether outside on walks that help us slow down during the busy season, cuddles on the couch with tea or hot cocoa, baking cookies (of course from old family recipes), listening to Christmas music or watching Christmas movies. All those moments that make the holidays so special.
