Let it rain!
Embracing the Season
Our favorite time of the year is finally here! Autumn, with its beautiful moody weather, orange leaves, and cozy campfires. But with autumn also comes the rain, a lot of rain! So I got very excited when Hurtta released their new version of the Monsoon dog raincoat!
Testing the Monsoon Coat
Splinter put Monsoon Coat II ECO dog jacket to the test last week on a rainy hike in the forest. It was the second time that we went hiking on this path. Splinter also finally could go off leash again as it’s September now (dogs must be on leash from 1st of April until 20th of August in Norway). He explored the path at his own pace, from sniffing the bushes to running full speed. It was drizzling and the path was very muddy.
There is no such thing as bad weather!
New Hurtta Monsoon Coat II ECO dog raincoat is made from 100% recycled materials and featuring an updated design and fit. There's no better way to stay dry and comfy in cold, wet winter weather.
Enjoying the Quiet Forest
We love to go on hikes in this weather as it’s quiet in the forest. We didn’t see a soul, including no flies! But it did mean that we needed to wear rain coats, so it was the perfect time to put the new Monsoon Coat II Eco to the test. And ooh boy, Splinter has put it to the test. He ran through the bushes, rolled with it, and was overall in a bit of a crazy mood.
The Monsoon Coat’s Performance and Practical Features
The Monsoon Coat II Eco dog raincoat held up perfectly. It stayed in place and Splinter was completely dry under the coat after roaming in the forest for 2 hours. I love that this rain coat is eco-friendly so that we can keep enjoying places like this longer. The fabric feels really sturdy and I’m excited to use it for many years to come.
Also, did you know that the new coats have a loop to hang them on the coat rack?! I’m so happy they added the loop as it was always a bit of a struggle to hang the coats on the rack.
