Belgium, the famously flat country, occasionally treats us to a few snowy days in winter—a rare delight we never take for granted! With our dog Byyou, we never miss an opportunity to head out for a hike when the chance arises.

That day, under a gloomy gray sky, the snow was making its final curtain call, but that didn’t stop us from fully enjoying the moment. Especially since Byyou and I were perfectly geared up to brave the cold.

As for our Kelpie? She was absolutely thrilled to see the snow again! Dressed in her Extreme Overall dog parka, she zipped around doing endless “zoomies,” darting back and forth like the snow was her ultimate playground—all while staying snug and warm.

Here’s a quick tip for snowy adventures with your furry friend: always make sure to offer your dog plenty of water. Hydration is crucial, even in cold weather, and it’ll help keep them from munching on snow, which—spoiler alert—isn’t exactly a healthy snack for them.
