Description
The thin inner layer's microfibers’ remarkable absorption power does what conventional fibers can’t, creating a longer-lasting cooling effect. The vest’s three-dimensional mesh fabric directs airflow, causing moisture to evaporate from the cooling layer, while the lining’s technical, moisture-wicking knit feels comfortable even when wet.
The Cooling Wrap is designed to cover the areas of the dog’s body that enhance cooling, namely the chest and its large blood vessels and the lungs. As circulation occurs, the vest’s cooling effect spreads throughout the body, eliminating the need for the garment to cover the majority of the dog’s body.

What should I measure?
When choosing the right size Cooling Wrap, the dog's chest circumference is most important (just like for harnesses).
After measuring, refer to the size guide to choose the right size.
The Cooling Wrap should fit snugly against the dog's skin for effective cooling, so if your dog has long or thick fur, measure the chest as close to the skin as possible to ensure a comfortable fit.

We requested this as Hurtta Adventurer ambassadors for 2024 just before we did a 230km backpacking trip through the Canadian rockies, and I'm so thankful we did. When I say that this cooling wrap probably saved my dog's life, I'm not joking. We where very remote, and had a heatwave come through on the last 6 days of our trip, which meant some serious adjustments to make sure the dogs where staying cool. Even with hiking from 5am, temps still got to 30C by 12pm when we called it quits each day. We had to stop at every water source to cool down, and having this cooling vest on Bandit kept him pretty relaxed and comfortable even in the heat. I cannot imagine having done this hike without it, and bring it every time the temps are above 20C now. It stays cool and wet for so long, and absolutely does its job! The fit is great, and it should be a staple in every dog owner's hiking kit for summertime. Well done Hurtta!

This Cooling Vest works deceptively well! I was suspicious that it wouldn’t do much but I noticed a huge difference in our dog’s comfort this summer while wearing this on outings. I am part of the Hurtta Adventurer 2024 team and this item has been among my top favorite “must haves”, especially if you live somewhere that gets high temps.
As a part of the Hurtta Adventurers group, we have been using the Cooling Wrap a lot this year and in the previous years and I am really happy with the cooling effect it provides. I find this accessory to be essential during our summer sport trainings and competitions. It is durable, comes in nice colors, comfortable, holds the cooling effect for a few hours while in the shade. The only minus I see is the way it is put on the dog - I find it easy but I saw that my boyfriend or parents have problems to figure out how to put it on a dog properly.
This cooling wrap is something we didn't know we needed, but now - with constant heat waves - we use them almost every day. It's incredible how much moisture these wraps can absorb and how long they keep the dogs cool. They are so soft, fit well, and don't obstruct their movement.
