Diving Into Summer
A Day Made for the Water
Some days are made for the water, and today was one of them. Enjoying the first glimpse of the summer to come here in North West England, Tessa spent the day making a splash in the reservoir! As soon as we pulled up by the reservoir, Tessa’s ears perked forward, eyes bright with anticipation. There’s nothing quite like the happiness of a dog who knows she’s about to have an adventure!
The Art of the Splash
The moment her paws hit the water, ripples spread out like tiny silver rings, and within seconds she was chest-deep, tail wagging at half-mast above the surface. There’s such a special kind of freedom watching her out there, snout skimming the water, eyes focused on her floating toy. Every so often she’d pause, stand still, and just stare at the distant ducks drifting along, as though contemplating whether to join their meeting.
Then came her favourite game: ball retrieval. Each throw turned into a dramatic rescue mission, with Tessa powering through the water, sending sparkling droplets into the air with every determined paddle. She always grabs her ball and returns so proudly back to shore, ears pinned in concentration, life jacket glistening with every movement.

Lightweight, secure, and eco-friendly
Designed for swimming, boating, and water adventures, this dog life vest offers flexible, body-conforming buoyancy without restricting movement. With recycled materials, adjustable chest straps, and a strong handle for safety, is Hurtta Life Savior eco dog life vest perfect for everything from first swim lessons to serious water fun.

Confidence in the Water
What I love about her Hurtta Life Savior is how it gives her confidence to explore deeper waters. It fits snugly but never restricts her, and the handle is perfect for helping her back onto the paddleboard or guiding her out over slippery rocks. It gives such peace of mind knowing she can be the feral water loving pup she is whilst still being safe. The bright colours also make her super easy to spot in the water, even when she swims out far to retrieve her ball which is something I always look for in a life jacket.

Pick up the style
Tessa is a 14.8 kg border collie who wears size 10-15kg in the Hurtta Life Savior ECO life vest in Peacock.
