Campfire Season is Back

Autumn is in full swing, which means campfire season is back. It's a popular activity here in the autumn and winter. Most of the time people go to a “gapahuk” (an sort open cabin, Scandinavian) but we decided to make a campfire in the garden.

Splinter’s Cozy Campfire Setup

Splinter loves campfires, especially sleeping “next” to them. He is of course not allowed close to the fire, so I often lay down a sleeping bag for him. The marshmallow roasting

Splinter kept an eye on me while I started the fire, but when I also sat down he fell a sleep quite fast. He even slept through rostering the marshmallows!

A Perfect Autumn Afternoon

We rostered all the marshmallows and sat by the fire until it burned out. After Splinters nap he had to do some zoomies and roll in the moss we have in the garden. It was a perfect afternoon if you ask us!
