What’s new?
The Expedition Parka has been a customer favorite for years, but in this new and improved version, we’ve made some dog-friendly updates to make it even better. Thoughtfully placed pleats in the front offer more freedom of movement when your dog is running or playing.
The back stitching is hidden inside the jacket, and the leash opening has been reshaped to enhance weather resistance—no sneaky leaks here.
We believe your dog should look as good as they feel. That’s why the new model features a color-coordinated buckle and belt as a charming touch.

Keeping every dog warm
This warm and stylish jacket is designed for cold weather, making it ideal for all dogs. It provides an extra layer of warmth, especially for:

The back-covering hem and cozy collar keep all major muscle groups warm. Plus, the fabric and insulation are made from 100% recycled materials—so it looks great, feels great, and is great for the planet.
Durable and adjustable
With the most durable technical outer fabric in the Hurtta collection, the Expedition Parka II can withstand all the rough and tumble your dog can dish out. It’s adjustable at the neckline, back length, and collar edge, keeping it securely in place no matter what.
The ECO model also includes new sizes 23 and 28, offering a better fit for smaller dogs (sizes 23–30).

Improved Fit
Improved Fit
The updated Expedition Parka II boasts a significantly improved fit, allowing for freer and better movement. The new design removes the elastic sections from the front of the old jacket and replaces them with the same winter jacket material but with more room, ensuring warmer and drier adventures.
We have introduced two new sizes, 23 and 28, to better accommodate to smaller dog breeds.
Weatherproofness
Weatherproofness
Weatherproofness for the winter jacket has been improved with enhanced taping and superior stitching, ensuring no water seeps through. The back stitching is cleverly concealed inside the jacket to eliminate any risk of leaks. The redesigned leash opening and new front design around the front legs help keep your dog warm and dry.
While the weatherproofness of this updated version has been improved, please note that this jacket is not designed for heavy rain. It is intended for cold winter weather with light drizzles or snowfalls.

Easy Repair
Easy Repair
Inside the product you will find a repair opening, through which you can easily repair tears in the seam or fabric of the product. The repair opening is indicated by the “Hurtta repair” tag and by the colour of the sewing thread, which is a different colour than the rest of the product stitching. Find the right size
When your dog is standing up, take their measurement's as the video shows. The more precise measurements you have taken, the better the product will fit for your dog.
For jacket's the back length determines the right size. If your dog's measurements falls in between sizes then choose a larger size.
