The world starts to bloom as the warmer spring days arrive. Splinter and I went on a hike to a lake a bit further in to the forest. There was no soul in sight as the road is closed for cars. In the spring some roads close for a while as the roads get soft from all the melt water.

This means Splinter can roam care free on the multilong leash eco as we don’t need to watch out for cars. This also ment that the hike to the lake was quite a bit longer then normal, but we didn’t mind at all as the weather was absolutely perfect.

I sat down once we where at the lake to drink some water. Splinter jumped up next to me as he wanted to inspect what i was doing. He seemed thirsty so we shared the water. We spent some time chilling at the lake. It’s been so nice to just spent some more time outside, taking it all in and noticing the signs of early spring. Splinter slept for a bit in the sun, laying his head on a tree root.

We hiked the 1 hour hike back to the car after a while. Splinter was ready for some action again. He did the zoomies 3 times, did a bit of digging in the lose sand and picked up some sticks.

Splinter was wearing the new Hurtta weekend warrior II eco harness. I absolutely love this harness on him as it doesn't restrict Splints movement but he still has all the comforts of a harness. We already loved the old version of the weekend warrior but I'm very excited about the new version. The biggest differences I noticed where the part between the legs is a bit more narrow and that the back is just a bit longer so the leash doesn't touch the back while walking.
