@pumpkin.pablo - Easy walks everywhere

Prepared for every eventuality I’m a big fan of walking with dogs hands free, especially on longer walks, hikes, and morning runs.

I’ve tried out many long dog leashes over the years but the Hurtta Multilong dog leash is the first one that works for both Pablo and me. It’s incredibly sturdy, while also being lightweight and soft. You can adjust the length to anything you want and it has some proper yet lightweight carabiners on both ends.

Whenever I visit my mother, the Multilong dog leash works great as a double lead for both Pablo and my mother’s dog, Jano. It’s perfect for our camping set-up too because, at its longest, it extends to 3 meters, giving Pablo lots of space to roam. The Hurtta Multilong leash also works great in combination with the Venture no-pull dog harness, which has metal leash attachement points both at the front (chest) and on the back.

Pablo isn’t usually much of a puller, but this dog harness fits so perfectly (you can adjust not just the chest width, but also the neckline) that it’s a great everyday harness even when you’re not teaching leash behaviour. Especially for dogs that don’t have a conventional shape, this is a great option. My mother’s dog, for example, is a mix with a small head and neck and wide chest and an escape artist when it comes to dog harnesses, but the Venture No-Pull harness fits like a glove and he hasn’t managed to wrangle his legs out of it yet.
