The car harness is the result of three years of precise planning and testing by Hurtta's own product development team. The harness has been rigorously put to the test, literally, in ten official crash tests to ensure that it meets regulatory and our own personal high standards. The dog car harness is made of very strong and durable materials and its design structure is safe for your dog. The harness also contains recycled ECO materials.
Thanks to its thoughtful design the Travel Harness ECO is comfortable for dogs to wear, especially because it allows them to sit, stand, or lie down while in transit. The harness will not restrict the dog's movement when it changes position. And you can find your dog’s perfect fit and fine tune his or her comfort level with adjustable points at the neckline, chest, and waist.
Dressing the dog travel harness is easy. It’s similar to the way you put on a Y-harness. First place the harness over the dog’s head, then work the shaped and padded chest section through the front legs. Next attach the chest section to the top section with our specially designed slide-and-lock fastening buckles which are quick and easy to connect. With the harness on and your dog in place, run the seat belt through the sturdy harness loop that’s attached to the top of the harness. Then simply secure the car’s seat belt into its buckle the way you secure your own. It’s that easy. And because you use your car’s existing seat belt, it’s super easy to let your dog out for pee breaks and to stretch and run around outside on longer trips.
The Travel Harness ECO fits all common seat belts, and unlike many car harnesses a separate adaptor is not required. Every dog owner cares about their dog’s safety and the Travel Harness ECO is a smart and easy way to gain meaningful peace of mind.

We like to take our dogs with us everywhere we go, but ofcourse safety in a car is very important. We don´t like to put our dogs in a car kennel so we were looking for another solution that is comfortable for them and safe. That´s when we came across this special designed harness from Hurtta. It´s very easy to use and the dogs like it.
So if you like to take your dogs with you in the car this is a good choice.
I like the fact that harnesses are sturdy and cover important parts of the body (which is so vital in an unfortunate case of an accident so that there isn't too much pressure on one point of the dog's body). On the other hand, if you're stopping for a quick walkie or a photo spot on your road trip, you don't need to change to another harness as they do the job well! I think they are perfect for a quick car ride as a crate alternative - or if you're going on a longer trip and your car trunk is full of gear and clothes, but you want to keep your dogs safe during the ride nonetheless.

So easy to put on and remove, but the same time is so secure, this is what fascinates me. It's sturdy, but flexible, it seems very comfortable when it is on. I would 100% recommend it.

We got to test out Hurtta's crash-tested car harness as a part of Hurtta Adventurer group and I must say that I am really fond of having this product. It keeps me calm that the dogs are traveling in a safe way on the back-seat. It is highly adjustable, comfortable - my dogs have no issues in laying down in these harness in different positions - and it can be used as a harness for a quick potty walk during your trip.
This harness is really made with big knowledge about safety on the one hand and high quality as well as sympathy for dog's wellness on the other hand.
