Hurtta named Germany’s Top Dog Clothing Brand for the third year in a row!
We’re proud and grateful to share an exciting milestone: Hurtta has been selected as one of Germany’s Top Pet Brands in the dog clothing category for three consecutive years: 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The Top Pet Brands study has so far been conducted only three times, and Hurtta has been included every single year. Being recognised consistently by German dog owners means a great deal to us and reinforces what drives our work every day: creating functional, durable and well-fitting gear that supports dogs in real-life adventures.
Trusted by dog owners, year after year
The annual Top Pet Brands ranking is published by hundkatzemaus – das Haustiermagazin in cooperation with Statista and is based on feedback from pet owners across Germany. Brands are evaluated on factors such as product quality, functionality, design and overall satisfaction.
In the 2025 study, Hurtta was once again mentioned among the leading brands in the “Zubehör” (Accessories) category, with dog clothing remaining a key area where Hurtta stands out.
Why Hurtta continues to stand out
The recognition is built on real experiences from dog owners, not brand awareness alone. In the Top Pet Brands study, participants evaluated brands based on how they perform in everyday life with dogs.
Key aspects included:
- Recommendation potential – how likely dog owners are to recommend Hurtta to others
- Product performance – durability, functionality and reliability in daily use
- Trust – confidence that the clothing supports their dogs’ comfort and wellbeing
- Openness – clear communication about materials, fit and intended use
- Responsibility – the importance placed on sustainability and long-term solutions
- Overall value – whether the product experience matches the price
The recognition is built on real-life experiences from dog owners, not brand awareness alone. In the independently conducted Top Pet Brands study by hundkatzemaus and Statista, around 7,000 dog owners shared their experiences, contributing over 40,000 evaluations in total. Brands were assessed on how they perform in everyday life with dogs, including recommendation potential, product performance, trust, openness, responsibility and overall value. Across these areas, Hurtta stood out, earning a score of 8.80 points and being chosen as Germany’s top dog clothing brand in the hundkatzemaus ranking 2025, reflecting consistently high satisfaction among dog owners.
