Enjoying the Alpine Peaks

While we don’t get a lot of fall foliage, we are lucky to be able to hike up on the Alpine peaks and enjoy the first snow in combination with warm October sun. Our perfect hike must include stunning views, quality time together with Yagoh, and bonus points if we get to treat ourselves to a well-deserved schnitzel or (and) a warm apple strudel by the best mountain hut traditions - and that’s exactly what we got on this autumn hike!

The Perfect Autumn Gear

I am happy I chose to snuggle Yagoh up in his midlayer warming dog jacket for this hike, as it was both sunny, windy, and even a tad rainy at the end.
