This harness style is sometimes called an escape proof or a three-strap harness thanks to its third attachment point—a distinct difference from standard harnesses. Thanks to this unique design, the harness provides a snug, slip-free fit for dogs of all sizes (even those with narrow waists or deep chests).

As well as the neck, chest and waist adjustment points, the adjustable straps on the front padding are designed to give an even snugger fit, whilst never rubbing, chafing, or giving any discomfort.
Instead of traditional neoprene, the cushioning is made from an ecological fabric, improving comfort and sustainability. Meanwhile, the other fabrics are all 100% recycled polyester, with surface fabrics waterproof.

Techical information
- Corrosion resistance of the metal parts has been tested in the laboratory according to the EN ISO 9227 : 2017 (E) standard and found to fulfil the determined quality requirements (SGS).
- The tensile strength of the harness has been tested under laboratory conditions according to standard SFS-EN ISO 13934- 1, and it meets the strength requirements set for the harnesses.

Ich bin absolut begeistert vom Safeguard Harness! Meeko trägt es auf all unseren Wanderungen und den meisten Spaziergängen, und es sitzt wie angegossen. Der ergonomische Schnitt sorgt für eine perfekte Passform, ohne ihn in seiner Bewegung einzuschränken. Besonders gefällt mir der stabile Griff am Rücken – ideal, um ihn bei Bedarf schnell festzuhalten oder zu unterstützen.
Ein riesiger Pluspunkt ist der verstellbare Gurt vorne, der es ermöglicht, das Geschirr ganz individuell an die Statur des Hundes anzupassen. So passt es wirklich jedem Hund – egal ob schmal gebaut oder etwas kräftiger.
Das Material ist hochwertig verarbeitet, angenehm gepolstert und trotzdem robust. Selbst bei Regen oder im Matsch hält es super durch und lässt sich leicht reinigen. Auch die Reflektoren sind ein großer Vorteil für Spaziergänge in der Dämmerung.
Meeko scheint sich sehr wohl darin zu fühlen – kein Ziehen, kein Zerren, einfach entspanntes Laufen. Ich kann das Geschirr wirklich jedem empfehlen, der ein sicheres, gut durchdachtes und langlebiges Produkt sucht!

We use this harnass for when we are going on a hike in the mountians or at deep abysses, because Yuna is a really clumpsy dog and she often takes a wrong step. And then I am really happy they wear this harness because they can’t escape out of it! Even when the dogs are just hangen at it at a deep absysses they just hang in it and you can pull them up without any problem!
They are also good fitting, they are thight enough at their smallest part of their chest and still comfy and soft!
As a Hurtta Adventurer, I was lucky enough to try out the new Safeguard Harness and it’s become our top choice for big city walks. Even though Opti isn’t much of an escape artist, it gives me great peace of mind knowing he can’t slip out of it. The harness is fully adjustable and provides a secure, comfortable fit every time.
I was so excited to try out this new safeguard harness, even though my dog isn't one to wiggle out of harnesses, this has so much more use! I have a Corgi and heeler mix who comes with me on many adventures in the mountains, and having a harness with a bit more belly support for my long dog is fantastic when I need to give him a little boost up terrain. Not only that, but the multiple attachment points are great for when he rides on the back of my gravel bike in his basket, I can ensure he's clipped in on two points to keep him safe.
Since many of the paths here lead along narrow ledges and rocky ridges, it's especially important that my dogs are equipped with super secure gear.
I used the Hurtta Safeguard Harness ECO, which fits securely and stays in place even when the dogs are running and jumping.
