Description
The Extreme Warmer ECO caters to all dogs, especially those active in hobby and racing sports, seniors and other cold-sensitive pups, and, of course, our short-haired and hairless friends who need that extra dose of warmth and care.
The Extreme Warmer ECO offers effortless dressing and undressing, making it perfect for before, after, and in between sports performances, and for daily winter strolls and jogs.
Hurtta’s unique head-to-tail foil lining uses your dog’s body heat to generate additional warmth, safeguarding their muscles, a vital feature for sports dogs waiting for their moment to shine. The foil lining warms up quickly, enhancing blood circulation, aiding in recovery, and reducing muscle discomfort after extended treks and training sessions.
The extra-toasty Extreme Warmer ECO also introduces a new, softer, fluffier ball fibre insulation that mimics the feel of down and creates small, heat-trapping air pockets for superior warmth retention. It does all of this while utilising recycled materials in the wadding, belt, and both the surface and lining fabrics to minimise the coat’s carbon footprint. Better sustainability without compromising performance, that’s what Hurtta is all about.
The revamped design offers greater adjustability and an improved fit that allows for your dog’s natural movements. The thermal jacket shields your dog’s coat well, much like a superhero’s costume, blocking blustery wind gusts. The soft, high tricot hood protects and warms the dog's neck and ears.
The wide belly flap, along with the updated, adjustable Hurtta webbing belt, slips on easily, thanks to its handsome, more durable, yet still lightweight, matching metallic G-hook buckle and slide adjuster.
The cleverly designed long hem provides additional coverage but can also be shortened and tucked under the jacket and secured with a snap if desired. Similar to the previous version, the back-length adjuster is located inside the jacket, making the exterior fabric more weatherproof and eliminating the chance of the cord snagging on something. Additionally, for smaller dogs, the 25 cm size features a built-in harness and leash loop, simplifying life and getting you outdoors even quicker.

CloseIt's in the details
New and updated Extreme Warmer
We have made adjustments and updates to the Hurtta favourite winter coat. Read here more about features that we have updated to make the winter coat even more weatherproof and adventure-ready!
Improved Warmth
The new wadding is softer, fluffier ball fiber insulation that mimics the feel of down and creates small, heat-trapping air pockets for superior warmth retention. The updated model is warmer as well due to the updated wadding.
Updated Fit
The updated Extreme Warmer III ECO has much the same fit as the previous model, however the hood of the updated model has been improved so that it is more fitted for the dog and there is more space around the front legs for freer movement.
Weatherproof
In comparison to the previous model, this model has fully taped seams to provide better protection against the wet and cold weather elements.
Perfect for winter weather and slushy environments, however please note that it is not intended to be used as a raincoat.
Easy Repair
Inside the product you will find a repair opening, through which you can easily repair tears in the seam or fabric of the product. The repair opening is indicated by the “Hurtta repair” tag and by the colour of the sewing thread, which is a different colour than the rest of the product stitching. Further instructions you can find from our repair instructions here.
Metallic Features
The plastic features from the Hurtta belly webbing belt have been replaced with a more durable and long-lasting metallic G-hook buckle and slide adjuster.
Hanging Loop Addition
The new model has a hanging loop found further inside the collar of the winter jacket (near the neckline), so that the winter jacket is easier to hang, dry and store.
Find the perfect size
What should I measure?
When your dog is standing up, take their measurement's as the video shows. The more precise measurements you have taken, the better the product will fit for your dog.
Compare the taken measurements with the information in the size chart.
For jacket's the back length determines the right size. If your dog's measurements falls in between sizes then choose a larger size.
