Love it

It fits perfect on my 23kg amstaff (size 20-40kg). Even though she is a good swimmer, I've bought it just to be safe. Once she fall off the SUP, the life savior prevented her to dive into the water too much and it was really easy to lift her back up because of the big handle at the back. It also has a leash attachment, which comes in handy when you come back to shore. The life savior is really strong and compact (also for "stronger" breeds like amstaff, ...). The orange colour is well visible in the water and beautiful too. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase.

Stiff and lumpy

For small breed I find lifejackets hard to find because it’s very stiff and lumpy at front, and results in discomfort for my pups... I have tried alot of lifejacket on my two toy poodles and not yet come across one that’s not lumpy in the front.. and I find it a bit tricky to adjust the straps too. The bottom piece is super! But if you have a dog with deep chest I would recommend to get a bigger size, something I had to do. Else it’s a wonderful life jacket!

Perfect fit

With a great design that enables your dog to move free both in water and on land. Also good outstanding colours that makes your dog easy seen in water. Love it!

Hurtta Life Savior

We have tried many dog life jackets, but have not found any as well made as the Life Savior. If you are looking for a life jacket that will save your dog in the event of an emergency situation (such as tiring, an injury, or hypothermia), this is the only life jacket that I would fully trust to keep my dog afloat if she stopped swimming. The back of the jacket has foam panels along the back that provides a high level of buoyancy. The belly panel is held together with Velcro strips as well as plastic buckles. Another important feature on life jackets are the handle. You want to make sure it will be able to lift your dog’s weight without tearing. I’ve had no issues with the handle being about to support my 52lbs dog. There is also a leash attachment on the back of the life jacket. When it comes to water safety, Hurtta is the only life jacket that we would trust to save our dog. The only downfall is the size chart does seem to be a bit off. Farley has a 27.5” chest, which means she should fit the 20-40lbs life savior. If was however much too small. We found that choosing a size based on your dog‘s weight to be much more accurate. Farley fits the 40-80lbs jacket much better.

Best life vest

We have a mixed breed dog, he’s 25kg in weight and he wears a size 20-40kg. It’s important to choose the right size that’s for more than your dog actually weighs in order to be sure it will keep him floating in case of emergency. We really like it! It’s visible in these bright colors, it has a big handle on the back which makes it easy to lift him up to our boat for example if he would end up in the water for some reason. Also there’s a ring in the back to attach his lead which also makes us feel safe. It’s also very easy to adjust so all the straps fits just right on him. Rocky really likes it as well! He has no problem running around with it on and he’s not at all bothered by it. We honey also believe that he understands it helps him to stay a float in deep water. We can warmly recommend this product to all responsible dog owners who agrees with us that safety always has to come first.
