The abdominal section of the jacket has been dimensioned to cover the abdomen, which is sensitive to the cold, as well as possible. The effective 3M reflective pipings and the large reflective prints of the jacket improve the visibility of the dog in the dark. The renewed Extreme Warmer has had some details added to it that improves its utility from before: the adjustable length of the back, as well as the adjustable section in the hood have been inconspicuously placed on the inside of the jacket. Snap buttons have been added to the rear hem, with which the protective rear hem can be folded under the jacket. Also the jacket has been renewed with a softer, thicker type of wadding.

I’m in love. Size fits perfect
I bought the second Hurtta Extreme Warmer for our 8 month old Boston terrier. It is warm, comfortable so he can move freely and functional. It is really good that it is so adjustable. Only bad part is that I think the elastic around neck is a bit tighter than the previous model the same size.
It's far away from "extreme warm" and it isn't machine washable.
But well, 1 star for being super chic, it looks great.
In this weather (below zero) the 2 bullies are wearing the extreme warmer. (They're used to the moonson coat. They're comfy and love to go out
As a hairy hairless Chinese Crested my dog does have some hair, but it is hardly enough to keep himself warm or protect him from the cold and wet Dutch winters. I wanted a sturdy yet comfortable coat so he could still come hiking with us, and this coat has it all and then some! I particulary like the high collar and the windbreaker in front so that the wind doesn't blow right into the coat which usually happens with simpler coats. The foil on the inside is a huge plus as well, as it keeps him snug and warm without tangling his delicate silky fur as much as fleece does. It took a little training to accept the coat going over his head, but the moment it's cold outside he refuses to go out without his new favorite coat. It's brilliant!
